Voter File
The Voter File is where organizers search registered voters, review voter details, and decide who belongs in a campaign universe.
What you can do
- Search voters by name or address
- Filter voters by geography and campaign-relevant attributes
- Open a voter detail panel
- Review scores, contact status, district information, and address data
- Use filtered voters as the starting point for list building
When to use it
Use the Voter File when you need to answer:
- Is this person in our voter file?
- Which precinct or district is this voter in?
- Has this voter been contacted?
- What does the campaign know about this household or voter?
- Should this voter be part of a persuasion, turnout, or volunteer universe?
Opening voter details
Click a voter row to open more detail. The detail panel is designed for fast lookup during planning, voter support, or field conversations.
Relationship to Create a List
The Voter File is best for browsing and quick lookup. Use Create a List when you are building a reusable universe with multiple filters.
Data note
The demo currently uses Travis County sample voter data. Production campaigns should import and manage their own voter file once production data access is enabled.
