Voter File

The Voter File is where organizers search registered voters, review voter details, and decide who belongs in a campaign universe.

What you can do​

  • Search voters by name or address
  • Filter voters by geography and campaign-relevant attributes
  • Open a voter detail panel
  • Review scores, contact status, district information, and address data
  • Use filtered voters as the starting point for list building

When to use it​

Use the Voter File when you need to answer:

  • Is this person in our voter file?
  • Which precinct or district is this voter in?
  • Has this voter been contacted?
  • What does the campaign know about this household or voter?
  • Should this voter be part of a persuasion, turnout, or volunteer universe?

Opening voter details​

Click a voter row to open more detail. The detail panel is designed for fast lookup during planning, voter support, or field conversations.

Relationship to Create a List​

The Voter File is best for browsing and quick lookup. Use Create a List when you are building a reusable universe with multiple filters.

Data note​

The demo currently uses Travis County sample voter data. Production campaigns should import and manage their own voter file once production data access is enabled.
