Field Offices and Launches

Field Offices is the operations hub for campaign sites and events. It supports three site types:

  • Field Offices — ongoing physical campaign offices
  • Blockwalk Launches — staging points for door-to-door canvassing
  • Phone Banks — in-person or virtual calling events

Field Offices

Use Field Offices to track physical locations where campaign work happens.

A field office can store:

  • assigned staff and canvassers
  • address and map location
  • standard supplies like literature, clipboards, phones, headsets, and dialer seats
  • custom supplies such as water, snacks, signs, chargers, radios, or campaign-specific materials

Field offices are best for ongoing operations rather than one-time events.

Blockwalk Launches

A blockwalk launch is a scheduled canvassing event tied to turf, staffing, and supplies.

Use a blockwalk launch to answer:

  • How many turfs and doors are attached to this launch?
  • Do we have enough volunteers for the shift?
  • Do we have enough literature and clipboards?
  • Are assigned canvassers available during the launch window?
  • What happened after the event?

Blockwalk launches can be one-time, daily, or weekly.

Phone Banks

Phone banks help field teams plan calling work.

A phone bank can track:

  • assigned callers
  • scheduled calling windows
  • manual dialer or auto-dialer mode
  • expected calls and contacts
  • phone, headset, and dialer seat readiness
  • post-event outcomes

Phone banks can be physical or virtual.

Outcomes

After an event, log what actually happened. Outcomes help the campaign compare plans against reality, such as expected walk-ons versus actual walk-ons or assigned staff versus completed shifts.

Over time, this makes staffing and supply forecasts more useful.
